Sharks Revealed at SEA LIFE™ Aquarium
On May 29thMost people know that computers, monitors, televisions, cell phones, CD players and other electronics don’t, SEA LIFE launches “Sharks Revealed” – a new interactive exhibit designed to introduce children to these mysterious and misunderstood creatures of the deep. Fun, hands-on displays give an up-close and personal look at the life cycle and evolution of sharks. Discover how sharks eat, breathe and sleep while gaining an understanding of these great creatures.
New Activities Added to the Discovery Zone
SEA LIFE Aquarium wants to inspire kids to do their part in caring for our seas. To help in this quest, the Aquarium has added several new interactive features to the Discovery Zone to offer inspiration and ideas so that every day can be Earth Day.
SEA LIFE hosts E-Waste Collection Event on May 16th
Most people know that computers, monitors, televisions, cell phones, CD players and other electronics don’t belong in landfills, but they don’t know what to do with them. That is why SEA LIFE is partnering with Recycle San Diego and I Love A Clean San Diego to host an e-waste event on May 16, 2009 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Couch Cushion and Bag of Bananas Among Most Unusual Finds at Tamarack Beach Clean Up
More than 140 volunteers joined SEA LIFE Aquarium at Tamarack State Beach for the seventh annual Creek to Bay Cleanup. Volunteers scoured the famous stretch of beach for debris while enjoying live music, face painting, a trash timeline and scavenger hunt. To read more, visit our What's New page.
