Toy Building Bricks Store Renovation

When we first built the Lego Toy Building Bricks online store, we built it loosely around the favorite Lego sets of the time. We have have been getting requests to add more set's category pages. Well, we've heard you and the renovations are going to start soon. We'll be adding some new categories such as the very popular Atlantis, Toy Story, Ben 10, and Universe sets. You'll also be seeing Creator, Mindstorms and Technic sets with their own pages too. We agree that it's just not fair for these great sets to not have their own home!

While we're working on on this, don't forget you can still find any of these particular toy sets by simply entering their name in the > Lego Sets search box on the ToyBuildingBricks.com home page. We just want them to have their own home! The store will remain open with Lego Star Wars, Bionicle, Lego Indiana Jones and all of our other favorite sets waiting for you to give them a new home. As we value our friend's suggestions and questions, you can always use the Contact Us page on the store's website.

It is kind of a bummer not having a blog on our Toy Building Bricks store website so we got a bit innovative. We added this Blogspot blog to the website by using the RSS Feed and an RSSInclude box. It is kind of a simple deal but at least visitors to ToyBuildingBricks.com can view the latest three or four posts to this blog. Of course it is not meant to replace this blog but is just a way see whats going on here without having to leave the store. Check out the Toy Building Bricks Blog Feed page and see what you think!

Lego SpongeBob - The Nautical Joker

We've long known that SpongeBob has a funny side to him. Just look at who he hangs out with. Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, Larry the Lobster and of course that fabulous teacher Mrs. Puff. Think about all the jokes these characters can pull on each other. I came across a SpongeBob joke book the other day and thought I'd share a couple with you so here goes.

What happened to SpongeBob when he sat on his chewing gum? He became SpongeBob Chair Pants! How much does Mr. Krabs eat? Just a pinch! Why did Mrs. Puff wear sunglasses to school? Because she has bright students!

A really fun time would be for you and your friends to get all of your Lego SpongeBob toy building sets together and see what jokes you can make up using the different characters. When someone comes up with a really good one, write it down, take it to school and share with your class!
